Welcome, welcome! 💫

For those of you who don’t know me yet, my name is Mahogany. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and I’m so excited to finally share something that has been on my heart for a while now I’ve officially made the decision to apply to the 2027 law school cycle!

As a nontraditional law school applicant, my journey may look a little different from the “typical” path, and that’s exactly why I want to document and share it. I know there are so many people out there who are considering law school but may feel unsure, overwhelmed, or like they don’t quite fit the mold. If that’s you, I want this space to be a reminder that there is no one-size-fits-all path to success.

Throughout this journey, I’ll be taking you along with me every step of the way from studying for the LSAT, to researching schools, preparing applications, and ultimately navigating what it’s really like to be in law school. I want to be transparent about it all: the wins, the setbacks, the moments of doubt, and the moments where everything starts to click.

But let me be clear I’m not a robot. My life won’t revolve solely around books and practice tests. I have hobbies, interests, and a full life outside of studying, and I plan to share those parts too. Whether it’s how I balance everything, how I stay motivated, or just the everyday moments in between, you’ll get the full picture.

This is more than just an application process it’s a personal journey of growth, discipline, and stepping into something I’ve dreamed about. I’m incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) about what’s ahead, and I truly can’t wait to bring you all along with me.
